Q) How did you dream
up the dynamics of your characters?
Since the MCs are both human and alien, I had to give the
aliens (called Alasharians) specific characteristics that would inform the
dynamic between them and their human soul match. Not just the way they look—but
their customs, habits, beliefs—everything. I had a lot of fun with their human
match using slang expressions. Since they understand and speak English on a
basic level, remarks such as ‘I’m trying to wrap my brain around that’, can
cause quite a bit of confusion!
Q) Is this book part
of a series? If so, can you tell us
about it?
This is the third book in the Soul Match series, with two
more to follow. It is one of those series that does need to be read in order to
follow along with the intrigues and battles after the initial Earth invasion.
Of course, the romance plays a big part as well, and three humans will find
their soul match bonds throughout the course of the series.
Q) What gave you the inspiration for
your book?
I love
dystopian stories. I tend more toward the ‘alien invasion’ ones ala
Independence Day, but without the all-star cast lol. With this story, I wanted
to add additional elements to it that aren’t typically seen. So, there’s a
multitude of genres going on here! It’s M/M/M, but BDSM is also an important
aspect, since it’s how all couples work on the planet Alashar. They don’t call
it that, for them it’s the balance in their relationship, but what throws them
into turmoil is that they’ve never matched as three. The idea is shocking.
Whereas same sex and kink relationships are the norm, a menage is considered
taboo, and a match with a human is considered an abomination. I also added paranormal
elements that include the ‘fated mates’ aspect of the soul match. There’s a lot
going on!
Q) What are your
upcoming projects?
More Soul Match, of course. But I’m also working on a
gargoyle shifter series, and more installments of my bestselling Kiss of
Leather BDSM series.

on Earth is about to change once again and Morgan finds himself at the brink of
discovering his own destiny—and how the two aliens he can’t get out of his mind
will be a part of it. A disturbing event triggers the beginning of the fight
against the Void. Chris and Morgan must separate for the first time since the
invasion, with each of them going with their soul matches. For Morgan, he hopes
the goodbye he says to Chris isn’t forever.

Chris has had a monumentally bad month. First, an aggressive
band of aliens invaded the Earth, conquered the world, and now he’s fighting

or submissive to Lasar. Every Alasharian, regardless of orientation, needs the
balance of the power exchange to exist peacefully within their lifelong, soul
match bond. When Lasar is awarded a war prize, he sends Nary to look over the
recent arrivals.
Chris and his cousin Morgan are captured and sent to the
slave cages where they discover from the other imprisoned young men that they
are destined to be sex toys for alien pairs. When one of those aliens saves
Chris and his cousin from being abused by the slave master, Chris hopes that
the seemingly kind alien won’t be too horrible of a master.
Lasar and Nary are finally alone together with their new sex
slave, ready to enjoy their reward. But in the middle of their playtime a
shocking event occurs that not only disrupts Chris’ world even more than it
already was, it challenges everything that Lasar and Nary have always held
dear. As Lasar searches for answers, he begins to question the reasons behind
the Earth invasion and where his loyalties should really lie. As their Ahna, he must be the one who decides
whether they will all be safer together, or apart.

THE AUTHOR
Author Morticia Knight spends most of her nights
writing about men loving men forever after. If there happens to be some
friendly bondage or floggings involved, she doesn’t begrudge her characters
whatever their filthy little heart’s desire. Even though she’s been crafting
her naughty tales for more years than she’d like to share – her adventures as a
published author began in 2011. Since then, she’s been fortunate enough to have

Once upon a time she was the lead singer in an indie rock band that toured
the West Coast and charted on U.S. college radio. She
